One day in 2015, I took apart a projector and found this large cubic prism (also known as a dichroic cube). At the time I just shone light through it, but 6 years later, I realized that the magic was actually in viewing through it.
And with the discovery of smaller cubes, I wanted to be able to take trippy pictures whenever and wherever I wanted.
And thus, the Kaleidocube was born!
The cubes take an “image” from your left, right, and super impose it into one image in front of you, each with a different colored filter for each “image”.
