With some inspiration from my best friend, I made these lines-on-acetate and held them up to buildings on my way to work one day.
Some lines are hand drawn, others are vinyl scraps from the Interference Pattern Bike.
And as we had an Exhibit Developer Retreat looming, I cut clear acrylic paddles, and cut different line designs from black vinyl to go onto the paddles, and brought them to my coworkers to play with.
I heard a story once about how the tool you have determines what you see. These paddles support that observation - I can no longer go anywhere without seeing interference patterns in everything. Light. Shadow. Buildings. Floors. Trains. Cars. Reflections. Everywhere
